About Us

We started this organization when we realized that our for-profit business, Dig., wasn't equipped to provide support to individuals and communities with limited financial resources to start their own gardens and grow their own food. Born out of a deep desire to promote food sovereignty and food security for everyone, regardless of financial status, Scattered Seeds seeks to provide individuals and communities with the skills, seeds, and plants that can help them to take control of their food supply. Learning to grow your own food provides a person with a measure of control over the safety, quality, and quantity of food available to them.
